This website was set up by
Gorman Design Ltd. in 1998 for the
sale of the pelvic support car seat named Backseat.
Despite the successful development of Backseat, and the sale and
installation of the first batch of seats, no major publicity was achieved for
this important development in car seats or for the important principles behind
it. Production was therefore stopped
and Gorman design Ltd has now been deregistered.
The web site
has not been updated since 2002 and will not be. It remains unchanged, as an information web site,
and will in due course be superseded by the new site;
